With chocolate, business becomes a pleasure at Host 2023

From the absolute novelty of ChocolateCulture@Host2023 to the welcome return of the championships organized by FIPGC, the events at Host 2023 offer an increasingly delightful menu.

Host 2023, to be held at fieramilano in Rho from 13 October to 17 October, will be a great meeting time to discover the most innovative trends in the market, through its rich palace composed of more than 800 sustainable events. This year’s big news is ChocolateCulture@Host23, the first B2B event dedicated to chocolate culture.

A Thousand Interpretations of a Great Classic

The event will be led by the internationally renowned maître chocolatier Davide Comaschi who, with his multidisciplinary team, will give new impetus to the creativity of chocolate through the key to research and innovation: for example, through studies on molecular matches and the search for new varieties, types and applications to create new responsible consumer experiences.

“The goal is to create a stage through which to transmit the culture of cocoa and chocolate, making professionals understand the value of raw material through other professionals”, explains the world chocolate champion. “Research and innovation are becoming fundamental, possible only with knowledge of the basic culture of chocolate. We have been doing it for six or seven years, but it is important to do it in an interdisciplinary way and that is why my team is also composed of those who can tell the chocolate, who can communicate it and who can manage it managerially”.

The Great Italian and Foreign Masters Live at Host 2023

A great return involves Luxury Pastry in the World by Iginio Massari, which in its creative and innovative hub will host demonstrations, tasting and talk of the most important international pastry chefs, including Michel Belen Albi, Markus Bohr, Pierre Marcolini, François Stahl, Andrea Zanin. The guests will be not only pastry makers, but also personalities who deal with the administration, human resources and marketing, to make the pastry industry known as an opportunity for business growth.

There will also be exciting challenges among the masters, especially this year in the championships promoted by FIPGC - International Federation of Pastry, Gelato and Chocolate. “For the first time we will have three world championships,” explains Matteo Cutolo, President of the Federation. “The first is The World Trophy of Professional Tiramisù, which will be held on Friday and will challenge countries from all over the world; The second called The World Trophy of Pastry Gelato and Chocolate, in teams, will be between Saturday and Sunday. The teams will have to create artistic constructions with candy and chocolate in two days and will be present for tasting. Finally, Monday and Tuesday will be the Cake Designers World Championship, dedicated among other things to the wedding.” Another new feature this year will be a competition dedicated to cheesecake.
