Luxury pastry in the world by Iginio Massari

After the success of the last edition, my daughter Debora and I accepted the invitation to lead Host, an international fair that unites many hearts and souls and that makes Italian pastry known in the world. But Host isn’t just that.

Now that, fortunately, the limitations related to Covid are no longer there, we will have the opportunity to taste desserts from all over the world, focusing on typical italian sweets, without forgetting the traditions that come from abroad, discovering flavors unknown to the European palate.

In this "journey" we will have with us many guests, who will have the burden and the honor to tell themselves, their products, their laboratories, their history and their goals.

Guests will transport us every day from one continent to another, making this edition of Host interactive and more international than ever.

Nevertheless, thanks to the guests we will make a journey through time, we will discover the origins and evolution of the dessert, which reflect those of man, and then we will project ourselves towards the future of pastry.

The guests, in fact, will not only be pastry chefs, but also personalities who deal with chocolate and ice cream, the administration of the company, human resources and marketing, a fundamental element to make the pastry world known.

For this reason, I would like to thank Host and its organizers, who will give us the opportunity to discuss with many colleagues, experts and suppliers.

Now, I just have to give you an appointment from 13 to 17 October at the beautiful pavilions of Host. My daughter Debora and I and our collaborators are looking forward to participate and make our experience available to visitors who will arrive as many as ever.
