At HostMilano, products whose cutting-edge innovation has earned the Smart Label recognition organized with POLI.design and with the patronage of ADI will be displayed in a dedicated area
At Host 2023, at Fieramilano in Rho from Friday 13th to Tuesday 17th October, a special space to evaluate the state of the art of product and process innovation in the Ho.Re.Ca sector will be the area devoted to the winning products in the Smart Label – Host Innovation Award, in Hall 6, Stand A44 B43 B49 B50, where the awards ceremony will also be held on Friday 13 October.
The jury, made up of professors from the Polytechnic University of Milan and industry experts, selected 26 winners from 157 submissions, divided into three different categories. More specifically: five winners received the Innovation Smart Label for their ability to bring innovation to consolidated trends; six products were awarded the Green Smart Label award for their high level of innovation in terms of energy saving, environmental compatibility and eco-sustainability; and finally 15 products were selected for the Smart Label that rewards innovation in the broadest sense of the word.
Companies invest in innovation
The wide spectrum of sectors and types of products confirms how the entire professional hospitality and out-of-home sectors are increasingly committed to investing in sustainable innovation.
“We offer smart functions integrated into the controller and online portal, which provide detailed recipe information, HACCP registration and energy saving options, among other features,” comments Jan Albert Takman, export manager of Jøni.
Marco Zancolò, CEO di Franke Coffee Systems adds: “Designed in Italy and produced in Switzerland, our machines adapt to different spaces without compromising quality, performance and reliability."
“Our device is able to independently create scrambled eggs, which means that even an untrained user can create a perfect dish from fresh ingredients, including bacon,” says the director of business development & marketing for Eggciting Marcel Bivert, finally.
These are just a few examples of how diversified Smart Label innovation is, and of how all the ideas presented display the same ability to open up new paths. Visitors can look forward to a complete overview at Host 2023.
