The race toward the prestigious Smart Label has begun

Nominations for the Host Innovation Award are finally open: applications can be submitted directly online by April 30, 2025. Three categories, plus special mentions.

The wait is over: applications are finally open for the 2025 edition of Smart Label - Host Innovation Award, the award promoted by Fiera Milano and HostMilano in partnership with POLI.design and under the patronage of ADI - Association for Industrial Design, which crowns the most innovative products and solutions in the sectors represented at the exhibition: applications are reserved for companies registered for Host 2025, which will be held at fieramilano in Milan-Rho from 17 to 21 October 2025.

 

This year, applications can be submitted directly online via the form on the Award page on the HostMilano website, from which you can also read and download the rules.

 

Once again, this edition features three categories. Smart Label, for products with a unique content of innovation; Innovation Smart Label, for innovation that goes beyond established trends, particularly through digital connections from an Internet of Things perspective; and Green Smart Label, for distinctive features in energy conservation, environmental compatibility and eco-sustainability, particularly through new materials. Special Mentions will also be awarded for food & beverage products that stand out for particularly innovative contents.

 

At Host 2025, the nominated products, services and projects will be on display in the SMART Products area and will be published on a dedicated INDEX, to convey a message of innovation and dynamism for their sector and the entire economic system.

 

In the rich schedule of innovation-themed events, another no-miss is the Design Talks, again in partnership with POLI.design, and under the patronage of NEWH - The Hospitality Industry Network: refresher seminars dedicated to architects and experts in the hospitality sector, that will delve into the issues of sustainable innovation declined in design, concepts and formats.
