Stevan Paul lives in Hamburg. A trained chef, he gained early experience in various kitchens, which were awarded stars by the Michelin Guide. As a freelance writer, Stevan Paul now writes culinary texts and books. His columns and reports appear in numerous food magazines and weekly newspapers, as well as in gastronomic trade journals. Stevan Paul is one of the most successful cookbook authors in the German-speaking world. He has published fourteen cookbooks in the last ten years alone. Translations of his bestsellers have also been successful in the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, the Netherlands and Brazil. Since 2011, he has been running NutriCulinary, one of the oldest and most widely read culinary online magazines in the German-speaking world. Stevan Paul is a member of the Food Editors Club and Slow Food. He is managing director of content at Kaiserhappen, an agency for culinary craftsmanship, good gastronomy and smart tourism.
