Innovation, technologies and things Made in Italy, but also an international environment in the presence of top managers with whom to develop projects.
Spanish buyers who took part in the last edition of HostMilano offer us a glimpse of how lively the market is. Why do they come, what are their needs and what do they find at HostMilano?
“At HostMilano I have always found lots of new ideas, with truly expert suppliers and all those products that we are seeking out so that we can proceed with our business and look forward to the future. I love everything made in Italy, I have lots of connections with Italy and I admire Italian products, but I don’t think of the International Hospitality Exhibition as just an Italian trade fair, because there are so many brands from all over the world. So it’s an opportunity for me to meet with companies that sell products for our establishments, and I get to talk to management about developing a range of projects,” explains one Spanish buyer.
“I found plenty of new ideas, for rapid cooking for example, but I also come to HostMilano to find out about foodservice trends and I believe that at this time it’s important to have clear ideas on what’s happening. I’ve seen many high-quality foodservice products, but there again Italy is really the birthplace of this kind of equipment. Foodservice is recovering and there is a great need for us to keep up to date with new technologies,” says another buyer.
Spain has traditionally always been one of the countries best represented at HostMilano. Among the firms that have already registered for the next edition (to be held at FieraMilano in Rho from 13 to 17 October 2023) 44% are foreign, and Spain makes up a large part of that percentage, together with Germany, France, the USA, Greece, Portugal and the UK.
