HostMilano: an increasingly effective presence in North America

Collaborations with the most authoritative trade associations in the region, such as FEDA or CANIRAC, confirm the Host hub as the most efficient interface on these leading markets.

North America is not only a large market, but also a region where many of the future trends in catering and eating out are traditionally established. So it comes as no surprise to learn that the economic area made up of Canada, the United States and Mexico has for several years now been one of the main focuses in the ever-growing internationalisation process of HostMilano, being held this year at fieramilano in Rho from 13 to 17 October.

Among the biggest strengths of this focus are the collaboration agreements with some of the most authoritative trade organisations, such as FEDA – Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association in the United States, CANIRAC – Cámara Nacional de la Industria de Restaurantes y Alimentos Condimentados in Mexico, and Restaurants Canada (see article in this newsletter).

FEDA serves distributors, retailers, manufacturers and other associates who meet the eligibility criteria for membership: its members cover a highly diverse geographical area, and have offices in the United States and Canada. The association works with members and researchers to understand market evolutions in our sector and promote the business of distributors, also ensuring that members have the most up-to-date information on the sector, including training on new technologies for distributors and retailers. A mission in line with that of HostMilano and which will see this convergence take on concrete form at Host 2023 in the presence of selected top buyers who will meet exhibitors in hundreds of business meetings booked through Fiera Milano’s own matching platform.

In the same way, selected members of CANIRAC will be present at the event as top buyers. The Mexican association is a space for consultation, assistance, capacity and defence, as well as having an influence on public opinion. Made up of executives and collaborators committed to its mission and its values, and recognised both nationally and internationally, CANIRAC is committed to preserving, investigating and popularising Mexico’s food traditions.

To meet the top buyers from the North American associations, as well as hundreds of other hosted buyers from all over the world, find out now how to become an exhibitor at Host 2023.
