Over 30 international and Italian guests, prominent among whom are top-level guests from abroad such as Michel Belen Albi, Markus Bohr, Pierre Marcolini, François Stahl, and Andrea Zanin.

Many have been looking forward to his return, and Iginio Massari will not be disappointing them: the "master of masters" returns to Host 2023 – at fieramilano in Rho from 13 to 17 October – with Luxury Pastry in the World by Iginio Massari, an event within an event devoted to luxury pastry that will liven up the five-day trade fair and offer a unique and unforgettable experience.

“We are delighted to share the same vision of the world of pastry with HostMilano”, explains Maestro Massari. “To make the sector grow and make it evolve, we pastry chefs must work together with the organisers of important international events like this, sharing our knowledge and skills.”

Over 30 Italian and international guests will take turns on the HostMilano stage: pastry chefs, chocolate, and ice cream experts, but also managers and human resources and marketing professionals. Among the big names in contemporary pastry, there will be some top-level guests from abroad, including Michel Belen Albi, Markus Bohr, Pierre Marcelina, François Stahl and Andrea Zanin.

As Markus Bohr, executive pastry chef at Harrods, explains: “Prominent among the innovations are technology-based preparation methods, which could change the pastry sector in the short term. Preparation methods and ingredients will also be more sustainable. Indeed the sector is becoming increasingly natural in its use of colourings and additives.”

Attention to nature is a strong point of the new luxury pastry also according to François Stahl, head of development at Halba, a leading company in fine Swiss pastry: “One of the new trends is the vegan diet. Vegan is the 'new organic', or complementary to organic, also in terms of social responsibility, for which there is a demand along the entire supply chain."

Together with them and many other guests, Iginio Massari will take professional visitors to HostMilano on a journey around the world and will offer the opportunity not only to discover pastry specialities from the five continents, poised between tradition and innovation, but also to learn from the "greats" of the world the secrets of how they have been able to transform their passion and creativity into a successful entrepreneurial and managerial idea.
