Driven by the desire for open-air experiences, the outdoor furnishings offer innovative and sustainable solutions. Presented at HostMilano in the dedicated area, together with the technologies that make reception easier and more profitable.
“We believe that at this moment there is a great desire to rediscover conviviality, to see the news in person. In particular, architects and specialists in the sector need to touch the products firsthand and evaluate their comfort. Furthermore, we have noticed a great interest from contractors to renovate accommodation facilities, so we would like to be able to make known to as many operators as possible our wide collection of solutions for bars, restaurants and facilities, from bedrooms to common areas, even outdoors, from B&B to 5-star hotel to ice cream parlor, with customized solutions for every need”, says Gloria Tomat, Calligaris Group Communication & PR Manager.
At the forefront of the Group's projects is eco-sustainability: "We have been FSC certified for years and we are replacing all our plastics with 100% recycled polypropylene. We have also set up a program that with a mathematical formula indicates the exact percentage of sustainability of that product".
“The new products make use of more ecological and sustainable materials - confirms Alberto Brunello, manager of the LYXO commercial brand - We already use furniture mainly in polyethylene which is a 100% recyclable material and with a very high resistance, so much so that it is used for nautical buoys in the middle of the ocean. The next step will be to use recycled raw materials, which however have higher costs and aesthetically and in terms of duration they are not always comparable: they are high-end products and the HoReCa customer is not always willing to spend more".
The sensations on the sector are more than positive: "HoReCa has had an excellent recovery, there is certainly a great desire, almost a frenzy in wanting to restart and invest, even more than in 2019. It must be said that we, as specialists of the outdoor sector , have benefited from the boom in external openings and dehors”.
The events in attendance are a fundamental meeting also for Andrea Campaner, Italy Sales Director Community Division of Simmons, a company that has been attentive to quality and comfort since 1870 through the customization of the hotel bed. “We make beds tailored to the needs of each target. As for the news… we invite everyone to come and visit us at HostMilano”.
It looks like an oxymoron but in reality even digital technology looks for Host21 in attendance, as explained by Leonardo Serboni, Digital Marketing Specialist at Passepartout. "Meeting in person is a crucial moment in building a relationship based on trust. We are pleased to present our management solutions for catering to an audience interested in innovation such as that of HostMilano".
They are solutions for online booking via website or App or the use of totems, multimedia kiosks and smart monitors for communication between dining room, kitchen and customers. But also the rider tracking portal, which can be used by them to manage orders, and a solution for data analytics in the cloud, which collects and stores all restaurant data.
The trends of the sector? “Sustainability, avoiding waste and reducing paper receipts. Our management system is able to calculate the actual stock needs based on the use of raw materials necessary for the creation of each dish and allows you to digitize every communication process between departments and between restaurant and customer".
Nothing can replace live personal interaction also for Domenico Palmisani, CEO of Ipratico. “Our company has always distinguished itself for having brought to the market solutions and products that have represented a moment of discontinuity in the sector, often revolutionizing it. The exhibition is the place where to show 'the novelty', so we don't want to take away the taste of the surprise, but we can guarantee that once again the wait will not be disappointed".
The strongest trends in place? "The need for management control, the management of customer relations and the opening of the business outside the operating walls, using every channel to reach customers".
