For all the winners, receiving recognition from a jury of experts is an indispensable trademark for being an innovative company.
Being “disruptive”, going beyond the most consolidated trends, between reduction in consumption and the use of the latest generation technologies. From materials to ovens, from professional equipment to refrigeration systems, the winners of the three categories of the Smart Label Innovation Award have no doubts: participating in the award is an indispensable trademark for being an innovative company. "Receiving the SMART Label 2021 Award represents an important recognition for our team, both for the purposes that the award proposes, and for the high level of competence of the jury", explains for example Edi Fabbro, Innovation manager and CEO Italynnova Srl that with TheProbe (among the winners in the Smart Label section) aims to solve the problem of detecting temperatures at the core of products during sous-vide cooking.
“Participating in competitions like this allows us to measure our work and compare ourselves with leading companies in the sector”, adds Giovanni Giaquinta, Dalla Corte's Marketing Manager who won the award with Zero, the professional machine “made by baristas, for baristas”.
The product presented by Carimali SpA is also under the banner of technology, as told by the Board Member of the company, Umberto Doglioni Majer: "With Heylo we have created a truly cutting-edge coffee machine, thanks to its capacity to heat the water instantly, significantly improving the sustainability of the product". Safeguarding the environment which, underlines the Blupura Marketing Manager Debora Screpanti, is one of the reasons for the victory of Unico, a tap capable of delivering water thanks to artificial intelligence. "Thanks to UNICO it is possible to refill your water bottle countless times, reducing to zero the introduction of plastic into the environment".
From Made in Italy to abroad, to win this year's edition of the Smart Label Innovation Award, you need to focus on the key concept of sustainability. International companies that have received the 2021 awards also think so. “Our focus has always been on sustainability, but in the post-pandemic scenario we have been focusing on this aspect even more”, confirms Bruna Pickler, Skymsen's External Marketing Analyst. "Our Potato Peeler DB-10, designed for the European market, is a product that, at the same time, meets the needs of productivity, flexibility and attention to green issues". A little bit of what also happens in the parts of QualityFry, a multinational refrigeration company a Spanish multinational that is expanding from the Ho.re.ca sector to the hotel sector. “At Smart Label we received the award thanks to a refrigeration machine that contains an anti-fire system inside it”, concludes CEO Javier Toral. But in the future, the projects are even more ambitious: “We would like to equip hotels with a 24-hour smart kitchen, fully automated thanks to virtual reality, and capable of reducing waste and unnecessary consumption”.
