The great professionals of the sector share their know-how and challenge each other in classic and innovative preparations, while the world championships of Tiramisu debut.

The worlds of pastry and ice cream are more lively and rich than ever. And they find their consecration at Host21 after a year of great changes, starting with the use of the delivery channel. The Big in the sector will be available for training and infos, allowing us to take a fundamental and never banal look at the evolution of the market, thanks to a series of events of great depth.

 

In addition to the return of Luxury Pastry in the World by Iginio Massari, the concept created by the Master of global pastry chefs that will compare the best exponents of the category, the plate of events is really rich.

 

An absolute debut concerns one of the most famous Italian desserts in the world which is also spreading abroad: the Tiramisu World Championship organized by Fipgc, International Federation of Pastry, Ice Cream and Chocolate, scheduled for 23 and 24 October, with 24 competitors, including foreign will challenge in the creation of a classic tiramisu, with traditional recipes and ingredients, and an innovative tiramisu.

 

But pastry chefs from all over the world will also compete in the FIPGC International Pastry Award in four categories: Artistic Sugar, Chocolate, Pastillage and Wedding Cake.

And since there is only to learn from the greats, don't miss the brand new format The Best Pastry Chefs in the World, a parade of 300 pastry chefs belonging to the Fipgc teams of excellence, with the presence of 18 world champions who will share their experience and discuss the evolution of contemporary pastry.

 

The event will be closed by the Art Gallery, with over 200 works and live works on display and demonstrations by students at the Contest School, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and hotel institutes.

 

A welcome return will also be the Panettone World Championship organized by the Academy of Master Yeast and Italian Panettone.

 

In short, a truly complete picture to see where a sector in great shape is going. Not to mention that thanks to the simultaneous holding of TUTTOFOOD, the leading event in the agri-food ecosystem, it will be possible to exploit the synergies existing between two highly complementary sectors such as agrifood, large-scale distribution and away from home.
