The event that will take place from 22 to 26 October, also thanks to TUTTOFOOD being held at the same time, is confirmed as the world place-to-be for the entire sector.
The latest news concerns the agreement reached with the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), the association that represents thousands of coffee professionals, from producers to bartenders from all over the world, to be held during the five days of the main event in the Coffee, Tea, Bar, Coffee Machines, Vending segment: the SCA 2021 championships - World Barista Championship, World Brewers Cup and World Cup Tasters Championship.
A partnership that marks the grand return of coffee at HostMilano (at fiera milano, from 22 to 26 October 2021), and which makes the exhibition even more the place-to-be for all the different Ho.re.ca supply chains, and the place where to celebrate live the restart of the entire sector. This is demonstrated by the fact that to date, there are over 1100 confirmed exhibitors, coming from 40 countries (among these, there are markets such as Germany, France, Spain, USA, Portugal, Holland, Greece and the United Kingdom), and with a internationality on the total, which is close to 40%.
An important presence of buyers from areas of particular interest will make Host2021 even more attractive. In fact, even in a particular year like this one, only among the Rho Fiera pavilions will it be possible to see the latest product news and innovations of the sector, as well as being able to exploit the synergies existing between two highly complementary sectors such as agrifood and hospitality, thanks to the simultaneous holding of TUTTOFOOD, the leading event in the agri-food ecosystem. The existence of a virtual appendix such as the one provided by the mymatching platform, with open agendas and fixed appointments, will then increase the networking possibilities even more. Not to mention that the safety protocols already tested last September, which include the numerous structural interventions carried out in the physical space of the exhibition area, will be available to exhibitors and visitors.
Faithful to its tradition as trendsetter for all the Ho.re.ca supply chains, the next edition of Hostmilano will also bring to the table, alongside business opportunities, an agenda of over 800 events - including national and international competitions, cooking show, in-depth seminars - divided among all macro-areas.
The place of honor, as tradition, will be occupied by the large showcase of SMART Label - Host Innovation Award, the competition open to all innovative companies organized by Fiera Milano and HostMilano in collaboration with POLI.Design Consorzio del Politecnico di Milano with the patronage of ADI - Italian Association for Industrial Design (this year 79 applications were presented). The appointment with "Luxury Pastry in the World'' by Iginio Massari will also return, the concept created by the Italian and international pastry master that confronts one another with some of the most important interpreters of the world of dessert worldwide.
Also of great interest is the cycle of Digital Talks, a series of in-depth seminars designed in collaboration with POLI.design, and aimed at architects and industry experts looking for opportunities for professional updating.
Finally, the international championships organized by FIPGC International Federation of Pastry, Ice Cream and Chocolate with the World Championship of Tiramisù, the new concept International Pastry Award and the event The best Pastry chef in the world will be under the sign of the agreements signed with the most renowned Italian and international associations. Another event not to be missed is the Panettone World Championship organized by the Academy of the Master Yeast and Italian Panettone or the agenda drawn up by ALTOGA, the National Association of Coffee Roasters and Importers and Food Wholesalers, which will animate the Coffee Bar area with the 7th Grand Prix of the Italian coffee shop, the 2nd World Championship of Milk Art Grading and the tastings of Coffee addition - the itinerary event and coffee tasting corner.
On the foodservice front, FIPE, the Italian Federation of public concerns will present Catering 4.0, a privileged means of monitoring digital innovation in the sector that will share the scene with seminars organized by FCSI - Foodservice Consultants Society International on the future of Hospitality. The collaboration with APCI, the professional association of Italian chefs, has also been renewed and, together with Dynamo Lab, it will propose the Horeca Digital Academy project, a training course between theory and practice to train today's and tomorrow's restaurateurs.
