Buyers at HostMilano: a look at the future from the big names in every sector

The first major international HoReCa and retail fair for those who will come to Milan to purchase equipment and accessories for their business is a unique opportunity to meet top companies and learn about the best solutions for the restart.

We are finally back on track. Enthusiasm, the desire to discover, to finally meet live and discuss are the feelings of the buyers who are preparing to converge, from the four corners of the world, on Host2021.

"We want to look, touch, taste" says Aleksei Puchkov, Sales Manager of the Russian Baltic Master, who at Host, “the best event for HoReCa" will meet historical and potential partners and will look for equipment for artisan bakeries, pastry shops and dark kitchens, sectors which in Russia are experiencing great development.

More efficient equipment for your kitchens, coffee machines and accessories, furniture and seats: all this, Lawrence Mammas, Chief Development Officer & Co-owner of Canadian Foodtastic, knows he can find at Host2021: “I believe that technology and the digitization of the sector in particular are the focus of the moment”.

"Discussing products with people, being able to see them in action, negotiate directly in a more productive way, interact with buyers: these things can only be done in a live event", given that healthy food, pastry and coffee shops are the more vibrant sectors in Colombia, Andres Felipe Trujillo, director of procurement at Juan Valdez Café, at HostMilano is going to look for equipment for the food industry, for the confectionery factory, and for the cafè chain. “For me, participating in HostMilano is a good opportunity to get to know new trends and suppliers in the world of coffee shops”, he explains.

Yasar Kattilakath, assistant to the purchasing director of Fmart Retails, a chain of convenience stores based on coffee in the United Arab Emirates, will also be at HostMilano: "I am thrilled to be attending the fair for the first time and to meet many customers from all over the world, but I hope also to compare myself with the big names in the sector and learn about the new technologies and products that will conquer the market in the future. At HostMilano we will look for all the new cooking machinery and consumer products''.

As for the state of the art of HoReCa and retail in his country, Kattilakath explains that "now online business has increased and many e-commerce platforms have started, so everyone is focusing on online business and doing promotions to attract customers. We are also looking forward to meeting new suppliers who offer products that are more attractive to the customer in the current market situation and bring them to our country".
