Fiera Milano continues its efforts to provide professionals in the hospitality industry with the tools they need to deal with the challenges that lie ahead: on 23 November the focus will be on digital safety.
Digitisation is moving at an ever faster pace, as is the introduction of solutions for industry 4.0, especially now that more and more people are working from home. Fiera Milano is continuing in its role as a provider of consultancy services to aid the hospitality sector and give it the information and training needed to help it tackle the new challenges the sector faces. One of the most pressing issues that is now back in the limelight is the safety of everything we do on our computers – something that usually goes by the name of cybersecurity. The risks linked to the exponential increase in remote working in particular will be addressed on 23 November at the webinar Cybersecurity and Smart Working, starting at 11am. The initiative is part of the Cyber Security Talks, designed to animate the Cyber Arena of SiCUREZZA, Fiera Milano’s international event being held from 17 to 19 November 2021. Attendance is free and anyone interested can sign up using this link: http://www.sicurezza.it/it/content/webinar
Leading experts from the sector will introduce the problem and outline some of the consequences cyber attacks can have on corporate safety. The work session will look in depth at the technicalities and those taking part will be given a check list to help them understand how they can defend their company’s premises, what counter-measures they should take, how to improve their response to possible attacks, how to raise awareness about the threat they pose and the need for all those working remotely to take adequate steps to reduce the risk.
The high-profile contributors will be: Alvise Biffi, coordinator of the Cyber Security Steering Committee at Assolombarda; Vincenzo Calabrò, IT expert and security officer at the Italian Interior Ministry and contract professor of IT security, UniRC; Gerardo Costabile, CEO of DeepCyber and lecturer in corporate safety at the San Raffaele University in Rome; and Stefano Zanero, associate professor at Politecnico di Milano.
