Real open-air living rooms. This is the latest transformation of outdoor contracting, with the idea of welcoming clients into spaces that make them feel at home, combining design with comfort and sustainability. Ideal environments for enjoying an aperitif or dinner outdoors in a relaxed atmosphere.

Return to nature takes center stage, with the use of materials such as wood, stone and natural fibers. Design is also increasingly inspired by the world of greenery, harking back to the simplicity of natural elements: raw wood tables, rattan seating and organic fabrics. Color is back in the spotlight: after years of neutral palettes, bright, saturated colors are returning as protagonists. Emerald green, sunny yellow, bright red and deep blue give character to chairs, cushions and umbrellas, giving outdoor spaces a touch of energy and personality.

More and more venues are also focusing on flexible, multifunctional spaces, with modular tables and modular seating that can be adapted to different occasions-from informal aperitifs to intimate dinners. Their goal? To create environments that encourage meeting and socializing again.

“For example, we offer a seat that also becomes an armchair longue, two-seater sofa, and coffee table,” explains Luisa Battaglia, co-owner and Art Director of S-CAB. “We have also started to introduce accessories with vases and potholders. Our customer likes to find themselves in a complete mood that is practical, comfortable and sturdy. Moreover, sustainability is now no longer an option, but a way of being. In addition to having a dedicated line, we also apply it crosswise to production processes.”

Trends confirm the focus on sustainability: by responding to a growing environmental awareness, recycled materials, certified wood and eco-friendly fabrics are increasingly in demand.
