Innovation, quality, but also expertise, a melting pot, and a glimpse into the future. These are some of the keywords used by the exhibitors in the Gelato-Pastry area of Host 2023 to describe the event.
There was a sentiment of satisfaction among exhibitors in the Gelato and Pastry sectors at the latest edition of HostMilano as they presented product and process innovations to an even more international audience, aiming to surprise increasingly discerning end consumers.
“Lately, there has been growing interest in our products from the entire Ho.Re.Ca. sector,” pointed out Giorgia Benassi, Marketing Manager at Martini Professional, Martini Gelato - Unigrà. “In particular, restaurants and hotels looking to incorporate gelato into their offerings. Our goal was to meet the new needs of various categories. HostMilano is the ideal place because it effectively represents the entire Ho.Re.Ca. channel.”
HostMilano sets the stage for the business season ahead
Furthermore, HostMilano sets the stage for the gelato business season ahead, helping companies plan for the months to come. “Milan is a central location that attracts foreign buyers to Host 2023, in addition to the exhibition offerings,” explained Alessandro Li Muli, Marketing and Communication at Elenka. “It represents a first contact opportunity for us to introduce our products and, later in the year, to close contracts. It plays a fundamental role in meeting prospects from around the world: Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.”
Not only audiences come from all over the world, but they are especially well-prepared interlocutors too. “We have noticed,” concluded Achille Sassoli, Market Development Director at Carpigiani, “that not only is the level of visitors high and well-profiled, but they also come well-prepared and with a clear understanding of what they need. They present their challenges, and together, we seek the most suitable solutions.”
This further confirms HostMilano’s strong B2B focus, which will find renewed expression in the 2025 edition, at fieramilano in Rho from 17 October to 21October 2025.
