Contemporary hospitality is characterized by great dynamism: ways of living, trends, preferences and attitudes stimulate new formats and layouts and innovative and sustainable technologies
Consumers are looking for shared experiences and moments of entertainment to connect with others and create unforgettable memories. And this is what they also expect of those who provide hospitality. Constant updates are necessary in order to be able to offer formats and solutions that best respond to the needs of an increasingly demanding clientele.
Design, furnishings and even table settings must be able to pick up on and interpret new trends and develop creative ideas to create functional and innovative spaces that are also of high quality and attentive to sustainability.
The leaders present tomorrow's hospitality
Host 2023, at Fieramilano in Rho from Friday 13th to Tuesday 17th October, will devote two whole halls, 9 and 11 (recommended entrance: South Gate), to the Furnishing, Technology and Tableware sectors, which present a complete overview of the trends thanks to the presence of leading companies operating in the sector. A unique opportunity to understand how to redefine spaces through conscious, business-oriented choices.
“We will present an innovative design featuring a patented matt glaze that gives the appearance of authentic terracotta,” comments, for example, Anne Kemp, marketing assistant at RAK Porcelain Europe.
Anaïs Barak, chief marketing officer at Stölze Lausitz, says: “we have invested in a hybrid (gas/electric) oven that reduces energy consumption and carbon emissions by up to 20%.
Marcos Grespan, the commercial director of the Brazilian company Tramontina adds, finally: “we treat water with special devices, with water reuse percentages of up to 100% in some factories.”
And on the subject of sustainable innovation, visitors are urged not to miss the Design Talks, run in partnership with POLI.design (Hall 11 Stand U47 Z52). This is a series of seminars for architects and experts in the hospitality sector, and includes the area devoted to the products that won the prestigious Smart Label – Host Innovation Award (Hall 6 Stand A44 B43 B49 B50).
In other words Host 2023 will be exploring all the very latest ideas in Furniture, Technology and Tableware.
