After working in the professional hotel industry, Gokmen Sozen founded the Sözen Publishing and Organisation and continues to serve the industry with the magazines FoodinLife and Patisserie, which keep the pulse of the gastronomic industry alive. He has made it his life mission to raise awareness of Turkish gastronomic culture and bring together world gastronomic trends in Turkey. For the past five years, he has been building bridges between world gastronomy and Turkish gastronomy with the Gastromasa International Conference, which is one of the world's top 5 gastronomic organisations.
