Not only in the Gelato Pastry, but also in the Furniture Technology Table supply chain, companies are moving in the same direction: attention to sustainability and energy savings.
"Innovation, technology and energy saving are fundamental today". They have clear ideas within Bravo SpA, a multinational from Vicenza that produces machines for ice cream, pastry, chocolate and catering, and which will be among the exhibitors at Host. The reason? “This year in particular, the event will have a catalytic role for the energies and experiences of this last really difficult and complex period. There is a need to meet in person, to share not only virtually but also personally the resources, the talents and the new technologies”, declares the company from Montecchio Maggiore.
In the foreground, during the five days of the event, there will be an innovative vacuum cooking system, consisting of a machine compatible with a wide range of other Bravo solutions, capable of creating the vacuum through a lid with a funnel and a spiral tube equipped with a relief valve. "A technology conceived in this way allows you to work with five different vacuum levels, ideal for cooking quickly at low temperatures, preserving and enhancing the properties and flavors of each individual ingredient, and optimizing raw materials and energy consumption".
From the world of desserts to that of the Furniture Technology Table, the eco-friendly trend does not change. Costa Group will also be the perfect interpreter of this trend, with its space between the pavilions of Rho Fiera: "We will present our world with an original and suggestive environment, to discover nature and healthy and Italian living", they say, underlining how the 2021 edition of HostMilano "will trace the path for the future". The reason is simple: "The focus on innovation, technology and energy saving has also grown because the pandemic has given us time to get to know each other better and reflect. Now is the time to go back to meet in person”.
But that's not all: energy saving, environmental compatibility and eco-sustainability are among the reasons that allowed Pedrali SpA to win the Green SMART Label 2021 award. "For a company like ours, a manufacturer of furniture, sustainable design is the final act of all those activities aimed at improving the impact on the environment. It must be in harmony with nature, and characterized by quality products capable of lasting over time, both in terms of style and performance, focusing particularly on people's health and comfort", says Giuseppe Pedrali, CEO of the company, which obtained the prestigious award thanks to a seat made of recycled plastic material, consisting of 50% post-consumer plastic waste and 50% industrial plastic waste. “Post-consumer plastic waste derives from products previously used by consumers, such as plastic bottles or food packaging, and are the result of proper door-to-door separate collection. The industrial ones come from plastic material waste, from containers, from plastic films”, underlines Pedrali.
Who adds: “This mix allows for a qualitatively advanced sustainable product, capable of guaranteeing a high level mechanical performance. Obtaining 50% of this material from post-consumer waste means selecting, sorting and recovering a material that would otherwise have to be disposed of. And accurate tests and analyzes are necessary to ensure that this becomes a raw material with which to create furniture".
