Four events, one more important than the other for the world that revolves around coffee, pastry, panettone and innovation. The poker aces of the HostMilano events (the exhibition will be held live, and in full safety thanks to the Safe Together protocol, with the possibility of accessing TUTTOFOOD and MEAT-TECH with the ticket that can be purchased online on https://host.fieramilano.it/en/visitare/biglietteria.html) begins with the latest arrivals, the SCA 2021 championships - World Barista Championship, World Brewers Cup and World Cup Tasters Championship.
Thanks to the agreement reached by Fiera Milano with the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), the association that represents thousands of coffee professionals worldwide, from producers to baristas, the Rho Fiera pavilions will see the holding of three competitions which mark the return of the world of coffee at the fair.
Celebrating innovation in all its forms will, as always, be the SMART Label - Host Innovation Award, the competition now in its fifth edition open to all innovative companies organized by Fiera Milano and HostMilano in collaboration with POLI.Design Consorzio del Politecnico of Milan with the patronage of ADI - Italian Association for Industrial Design. An award - this year there were 79 applications from Italian and foreign companies most projected towards the future, while the winners of the three categories Innovation SMART Label, Green SMART Label and SMART Label will be announced at the beginning of September - which confirms once again the role of Host as an always open stage where to celebrate the combination of innovation and Ho.re.ca.
It is no coincidence, in fact, that already on 16 September, more than a month after the kick-off of the event, a live webinar entitled "Sustainability and human hospitality: rethinking and innovating hospitality to offer the experience of a country” will take place from 11.30 to 13.00. The event will see the participation of both POLI.Design and some awarded companies, with the ambitious goal of drawing up the guidelines of the new hospitality paradigms.
The Master of Italian and World Pastry Chefs will be the creator of the concept "Luxury Pastry in the World by Iginio Massari", the event that will confront one another with some of the most important interpreters of the sector worldwide. For everyone, with the help of Iginio, Debora and Nicola Massari, it will be a question of discussing the evolution of luxury patisserie worldwide.
Finally, it returns to Host2021 with its second edition, Panettone World Championship, the championship organized by the Academy of the Master Yeast and Italian Panettone, which celebrates the most famous Italian leavened product in the world: the traditional artisan panettone.
