Flexibility, ease of cleaning, technology and, above all, an eco-friendly approach that marks the corporate strategy and processing techniques: these are the lines that are transforming hospitality.
The design, the mise en place, the furnishings are a world that looks to Host2021 with enthusiasm, to physically show customers their creations. Abert also thinks so, with Laura Bonazza (Marketing office) who provides us with some anticipation: "The product designed for this year is a very flexible and versatile tool, with various transversal uses in the sector, especially useful in the buffet area". Among the trends in the sector, in the foreground we find "attention to the environment and technology, always very present and which will certainly increase in the future".
The furnishings are in the foreground to interpret the new expectations and needs of the market. As for trends, “the demand for a product of great quality, design and with characteristics suitable for the professional world is always the basis - explains Floriana Nardi, CEO of Nardi Spa - To this are currently added very specific needs, dictated by current events, for furniture that is easy to sanitize and specific and very versatile products to separate spaces".
If attention and innovation have always been the basis of the company's evolution, sustainability has become fundamental in its strategies in recent years. "It is a theme that touches us closely and for which in 2019 we launched the Regeneration project for the creation of furniture in recycled plastic, which already includes in the catalog a modular partition that is very easy to assemble, disassemble and extremely multifaceted in the different configurations that can acquire, to which other products will soon be added” says Nardi.
At HostMilano, the company will bring a brand new collection with seats, lounge chair and coffee table in fiberglass resin inspired by the theme of the slat reinterpreted in a contemporary key by designer Raffaello Galiotto and an integration to the modular system of upholstered armchairs.
Innovation and customization are the keystones that allow Simmons, a primary bedding brand born 150 years ago, to supply different subjects such as the Corazzieri Regiment at the Presidency of the Republic and the legendary Venice-Simplon Orient Express train. As the CEO of Simmons Italia Fabio Formenti explains: "We design beds with 'tailored' technical specifications for the most exclusive independent hotels and the most important international hotel chains, thus guaranteeing, with a widespread presence, the same comfort all over the world".
Added to this is a strong focus on sustainability: "The company produces in Italy and makes use of selected local suppliers, with whom there is a consolidated relationship over time. The entire company organization has been revised to reduce waste and recover materials that can have a second life, implementing virtuous processes through the use of fibers from the recycling of precious materials which, mixed with other components, can become padding for mattresses. A 100% sustainable production, focused on the use of electricity from renewable sources and certified with a zero carbon footprint and the use of certified natural gas".
