Easier, richer, more popular than expected. This is the feeling of the buyers who reached Milan for the 42nd edition of Host and bet on the first, major international event dedicated to hospitality and HoReCa after the pandemic, but with understandable caution and uncertainty, which were immediately dispelled once arrived on the field.

“Getting here was easier than I expected. A wonderful experience, I found the exhibition more popular than I expected”, said Jeremy Mottola from the USA.

It was the first time that Chen Mizrahi from Israel took part in HostMilano, and she found it amazing. "I am very happy and satisfied with what I have seen, the event has a vast offer in terms of exhibitors and sectors covered".

First time at HostMilano also for Ishita Singh of FEBC, a company that deals with supplies for hotels and the Horeca sector in the United Arab Emirates. "We were particularly struck by the breadth of the range. It is certainly an event to be held in person, because nothing can replace personal contact with suppliers. From an organizational point of view, I particularly appreciated the continuous assistance and the way in which the anti-Covid security measures were managed".

HostMilano was “a liberating feeling” for Wesley Farnell, Canadian buyer: “We could meet face to face, which is the best way to create authentic relationships. I didn't expect the show to be that interesting, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of participants. Although I imagine there were fewer visitors than usual, given that many from abroad were not able to travel, this allowed more time to speak with operators and have in-depth conversations".

"I have already come to HostMilano many times, but each time it is as if it were the first - says Zaimir Kasolli who came from Albania -, especially this year when we returned after the interruption due to the pandemic. The organization is truly excellent and highly professional".

The appointment, for everyone, is to the 43rd edition, from 13 to 17 October 2023.
