FCSI (Foodservice Consultants Society International) was founded in 1979 from the merger of two North American Associations: the Food Facilities Consulting Society founded in 1955 and the International Society Food Service Consultants founded in 1958.
FCSI is today the only non-profit world association operating in 46 countries grouped into 3 geographical areas (Europe-Africa-Middle East, North America-Canada, Asia-Pacific) with 1450 independent consultants and experts in technical-scientific, managerial and economic disciplines of interest to the food chain (production, processing, distribution, catering) and to the hospitality and wellness industry.
FCSI ITALIA, with President Massimo Artorige Giubilesi, represents a point of reference for Authorities, Consortia, Enterprises, Schools and Universities, Trade Associations, Public Administration and is able to support with its consultants the Organisations operating in the foodservice & hospitality segment in the design, implementation, management and control of complex processes in the hotel and public catering sector.
FCSI Italia is pleased to announce its presence at the 42nd edition of HOST 2021, a particularly significant event for the Association, a reference point for Professionals and Companies operating in the food service& hospitality sector, especially in this 2021 in which HOST will take place simultaneously with TUTTOFOOD, an exhibition dedicated to companies operating in the agri-food system.
A coincidence that has prompted FCSI Italy to attend with a "sustainable and safe stand" in which experts of international profile will give life to direct meetings and workshops on technical-scientific, managerial and economic issues to present the challenges and opportunities to address the particular period that the entire sector is going through.
The FCSI stand will be located in Hall 7 (Stand E49 E57/F50 F58) and will be the only one of the fair to be equipped with an innovative system of sanitation of the perimeter and internal areas, to ensure the development of the program in absolute serenity for organizers and guests.
All the events organized by FCSI Italia will be translated in simultaneous ITA-ENG and broadcasted in live streaming on a dedicated channel, giving the possibility to participate from distance or through a dedicated web-tv or reviewing them later thanks to the on-demand service.
Innovate, change, grow: these are the three key words that will characterize the five days of the FCSI Italy program for HOST 2021, developed with meetings divided into thematic areas that are at the centre of the global debate, to which FCSI Professional Members and Allied, together with Universities, Institutions and Market Players will contribute, sharing ideas, projects and innovative visions for a new professional identity of the sector.
The first day, October 22, will be dedicated to safety: a theme that has always been vital for a sector such as food service & hospitality but has become even more important after the recent developments related to the health situation and the need for guarantees by citizens.
The second day, October 23, will be dedicated to sustainability: the new measures to be adopted in a sector disrupted by the pandemic must first and foremost be efficient and adherent to regulations, but also respectful of the environment and economically sustainable in the company budget.
The third day, October 24, will be dedicated to technologies: the latest innovations applied to production processes, preservation and improvement of shelf-life will be analysed, with attention to solutions that prevent contamination of work environments and those open to the public.
On the fourth day, October 25, innovation will be discussed: linked not only to technologies and infrastructures, but to new operational and work processes, born and developed in this particular period that requires radical changes at a cultural and managerial level.
On the fifth day, October 26th, communication will reign: strategies and technologies to cover distances, communicate and manage relationships with collaborators, customers, institutions with efficiency and timeliness, developing digital in favour of business and corporate reputation.
These moments of meeting and exchange of ideas for the future will alternate with other events, such as the awarding of prizes to young students of Hotel Institutes/High Education Schools who have distinguished themselves in specific project work and the FCSI Party on Sunday, October 24, an invitation-only event reserved for Professional Members and Allied FCSI, representatives of government authorities, public institutions and management companies market players.
