The customer experience is at the heart of the new forms of hospitality, and operators in the sector need to be aware of this and be supported by consultants and designers capable of anticipating the needs and expectations of an increasingly demanding and informed public.
Case studies and strategies to achieve the goal and increase the performance of hospitality facilities, be they hotels or restaurants, will be showcased.
Architect, Ph.D. in Interior Architecture, designer with a studio based in Milan, and lecturer. She has gained extensive expertise through numerous design consultancy experiences, teaching, and research in the fields of contract design and hospitality. She is currently the President of ADI Lombardia. She has been teaching advanced training courses at the Politecnico di Milano for many years. Since 2017, she has served as a Lecturer and Member of the Academic Committee of the Master in Interior Design at the Politecnico di Milano, where she teaches subjects related to Hospitality Interior Design and Living Trends. As an international faculty member of POLI.design, she is a regular speaker at several trade fair conferences (HOMI, HOST, and CERSAIE), where she highlights the relationship between materials, surfaces, and hospitality. In 2018 and 2019, she held six lecture series at Tonghe University in Shanghai on the macro-theme “Soft Decoration in Interior Design,” with a particular focus on the hotel and contract sectors. Since 2024, she has been teaching the course module "PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND INNOVATION" as part of the Master in Customized Environmental Design Management – Shenzhen, China. She is the author of the book “L’ornamento non è + un delitto” (Ornament is no longer a crime), published in 2018 by Franco Angeli. Her essay is titled “Trends and Languages of Hybrid Interiors – Between Contaminations, Languages and Trends”. • Author and speaker at the AIS/Design conference "A/B/D Angelica e Bradamante: le Donne del Design", with the essay "Giuliana Gramigna and the Birth of an Editorial Style in Post-War Milanese Design Culture", included in the proceedings of the event that was part of the XXI Triennale di Milano International Exhibition (February 2017). She has also been a long-time contributor as a freelance journalist, writing articles for magazines and blogs.
