The European Pizza Championship, organized by the magazine Pizza e Pasta Italiana, returns to Host Milano 2025 in October 2025. Pizza makers and professionals from all over Europe will compete for the coveted title. A selected jury of experts will decide the winner based on criteria of taste, presentation, flavor pairing, cooking, and the competitors' skills. Pizza, an icon of Made in Italy, continues to evolve between innovation and tradition, with a sector worth 15 billion euros and 2.7 billion pizzas produced annually. The future focuses on sustainable cuisine and the balance between simplicity and experimentation.

 

The first edition of the European Pizza Championship was held at Host in 2019. In that event, over 50 pizza makers from Italy, France, Hungary, Sweden, Spain, and Switzerland competed. We now await another thrilling challenge that will delight Host visitors with all the flavors of good pizza from the Old Continent.
