In the heart of HOST renews its presence Food-Technology Lounge - a reference for the Made in Italy technologies of Food and Ho.Re.Ca., a space where to know, meet and update.

Discover the best food technologies of Confindustria represented by ANIMA Confindustria Meccanica Varia with its associations and by EFCEM Italia, together with the partners ICIM and Eurovent. In the new 2021 edition, the collaboration with ICE Italian Trade Agency will further enrich content and business opportunities thanks to the presence of foreign operators and trade analysts.

ANIMA Confindustria Meccanica Varia is the industrial organization of the category that, within Confindustria, represents, protects and promotes Italian companies of varied and similar engineering, a sector with 214,000 employees for a turnover of 47.4 billion euros and an export quota / turnover of 60.8% (data referring to the 2017 final balance). ANIMA participates in the regulatory and technical tables for the sectors represented and is a founding and active member of Orgalime (European Federation of Mechanics), as well as UNI (Italian National Unification Body).

ASSOFOODTEC is the Italian Association of Machinery and Plant Manufacturers for Food Production, Processing, Preservation and the association reference for the Food Industry within ANIMA. The sector generates a turnover of 5 billion euros, of which  66% is destined for foreign markets. FIAC, Association of Italian manufacturers of household items; established in 1949 within ANIMA, it represents Italian manufacturers of household, table and similar articles and is made up of companies operating in the cutlery, cutlery, pots and crockery sectors.

AQUA ITALIA, Association of primary water producers; for 40 years it has represented the manufacturers of plants, equipment, accessories, components and chemical products for the treatment of civil and industrial primary waters.

EFCEM Italia is present in the Food-Technology Lounge, the National Association of Manufacturers of Catering Equipment and Professional Hospitality. The Association represents the main industrial realities for different product lines: from the preservation of food to their processing, for cooking and distribution, for washing dishes and washing and laundry treatment. The Italian industrial sector of professional equipment is a world leader, with a turnover exceeding 5 billion euros and an export capacity of over 70% of production. EFCEM Italia is part of APPLiA Italia, the Confindustria association that brings together companies operating in Italy in the domestic and professional appliances sector, a sector that generates a turnover of over 15 billion euros, of which 10 billion euros in exports . EFCEM Italia represents the Italian sector of professional Ho.Re.Ca equipment in Europe through the European Association EFCEM - European Federation of Catering Equipment Manufacturers.
