On occasion of MilanoCaffè, HostMilano reveals the latest numbers for the upcoming edition (with significant growth) and a new era for Italy’s most beloved beverage, with consumption styles that are continually evolving



  • Organised by Comunicaffè, MilanoCaffè is the special event dedicated to the coffee industry and Italian coffeehouses set to take place from 1 to 3 October in various different locations in Milan and the surrounding area.
  •  The Coffee/Tea – Bar/Coffee Machines/Vending Machines – Gelato/Pastry macro-sector makes up 34% of the total number of exhibitors
  • Coffee production is growing throughout the world:  up 1.2% in 2017/18

Between business and trends, HostMilano 2019 is increasingly becoming the “place to be” for the global professional hospitality industry



  • 975 exhibitors have already confirmed their participation, 46% of whom are from abroad, from 40 different countries. The most active countries include Germany (16% of all foreign exhibitors), Spain (14%), France (9%), the US (8.2%) and the UK (6%)
  • The layout has evolved and has been refined  by creating three macro-areas that reflect the most dynamic sectors and current cross-influences
  • On the menu at HostMilano is a selection of more than 500 events; the Smart Label is back, and selections are already underway for the Cake Designers World Championships and the World Trophy of Pastry, Ice Cream and Chocolate
