World Trophy of Pastry, Ice Cream and Chocolate

Discovering the world of chocolate and coffee’ will be the theme of the two world championship finals, which for the second time will be organised by Fip (International Federation Pastry Ice Cream Chocolate) and l’Equipe Eccellenze Italiane Fip (Fip Italian Excellence Team) at Host, Fiera Milano 2017. The Cake Designers World Championship 2017 and The World Trophy of Pastry Ice Cream Chocolate 2017 will comprise the two main international events.
 
Roberto Lestani, Fip President and Member of l’Equipe Eccellenze Italiane Fip provides a sneak preview as regards the theme: “The formula will remain more or less the same with eight teams comprising three competitors and a coach, who will compete in the following disciplines: Chocolate and Praline Sculpture, Sugar and Contemporary Cake Sculpture, Sugar Paste Sculpture and Ice Cream Single Serving”.
 
“For the cake design there will instead be eight individual contestants who will have to present two creations: a display cake that will be brought from home to be judged on its appearance and a cake to be made there and then to be judged on flavour, which will be smaller but made using the same technique”.
 
21-22 October - the following countries will compete for the title of ‘The World Trophy of Pastry Ice Cream Chocolate’: FRANCE, AUSTRALIA, ITALY, HONG KONG, JAPAN, ALBANIA, USA, BULGARIA, THAILAND, GREECE, CHINA, ARAB EMIRATES, CZECH REPUBLIC, SWITZERLAND, ROMANIA, MEXICO, MOROCCO, TUNISIA, BOLIVIA, SPAIN
