Art in Pastry
Organized by FIP - Federazione Italiana Pasticceria Gelateria Cioccolateria in collaboration with the Équipe Eccellenze Italiane
At Host 2013, FIP - Federazione Italiana Pasticceria Gelateria Cioccolateria (Italian pastry, ice-cream and chocolate federation), in collaboration with the Équipe Eccellenze Italiane (the Federation’s hall of fame with a list of 580 medals won in International and Global competitions) will host a pastry forum that plays up Made in Italy.For the first time in Italy, the FIP master pastry-makers – world, Olympic and European champions – will create a large Art Gallery of Pastry, with live sculptures made from ice, sugar, chocolate, vegetable carvings, butter and bread sculptures and more…also small pearls and gems of classic Italian and international pastries. The FIP stars will provide dishes with a modern take in the forum. The Federation’s gem will be the Open Space Ice Bar – a bar made from real ice.
And again at Host 2013, the official presentation of the World championships which will be held in the 2015 edition, during the Expo:The World Trophy of Pastry Ice Cream Chocolate and the Cake Design World Championship, organised by FIP – Federazione Italiana Pasticceria Gelateria Cioccolateria (Italian pastry, ice-cream and chocolate federation) and FIP Équipe Eccellenze Italiane. Different cultures will get together to bring to life a great international competition on a unique world stage:Master Pastry, Ice-cream, Chocolate makers and Cake Designers from all over the world will challenge each other in decoration and taste tests, held live with sugar paste, coloured flowers, small animals and soft toys of various shapes and sizes, along with ice, sugar and chocolate sculptures.
