As a follow up to concerns about the food self-sufficiency ratio, the Japanese government has begun throwing support behind eggs with pale white yolks. The "white-on-white" eggs are produced by chickens fed with rice, rather than imported grains like corn. The latest issue of Japanese food publication Ryori Tsushin (The Cuisine Magazine) focuses on pizza in the first half of the magazine.
