Italian Pizza & Pasta
At Host 2013, a fast moving programme of courses and competitions will be devoted to the pizza & pasta combination by the Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli (Italian pizza maker school). It kicks off on Friday 18th with AAA Pizzaioli Qualificati Cercasi: information and pizza making techniques – from the classic pizza to pizza on a baking tray, with an eye on job opportunities in a sector that needs another 6,000 pizza makers. It continues on Saturday 19th with I Segreti del Pizzaiolo, techniques for tasty but light dough, and Sunday 20th with L’Allievo Supera il Maestro, direct challenge between the students at the pizza maker school in Turate (CO). Then to end, theEuropean Pizza Championships will take place on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd, with the announcement of the winner.
