Gelato (and gelato makers) go centre stage at HostMilano
Ice-cream parlours will be in the spotlight at HostMilano 2017, in an initiative organised in partnership with Italian Gourmet. “Italian Gelato” is an exhibition-event (being held in hall 6) devoted entirely to the ice-cream industry and all those involved in it. It will focus in particular on how to open, run, refurbish and advertise an ice-cream business. There will be a full programme of talks and demonstrations involving leading professionals from the sector over the five days, in which artisanal processes will be thoroughly explored.
Meetings lasting 40 minutes each will alternate with tastings and show-cooking demonstrations, to give ice-cream makers (and anyone wishing to get into the business) useful information on trends and new ideas in what continues to be a fast-growing, rapidly-developing sector.
